I knew it! And thank you. I hope I’ll wear it long, I like it.

The episode you refered is called Measure of a Man, and it's one of the best episodes of TNG, I love it, it was amazingly well done

Yes, I just found it!

I do suspect though that Star Trek touches a lot of themes worth thinking about beyond this episode, so I will keep the series at the back of my mind.

I fell in love with that number. It’s so perfect...

My mind is akin to a small animal, who can hold only one object in a tight grasp of its paws. And right now it holds on to my current obsession like a to a lifeline.

But it makes me think: surely Star Trek and its themes are surprisingly well suited to text-based roleplay.

It baffles me that there's so few people.
I wish you get a partner to play with, for even though I am not a trekkie myself, I appreciate the thing you are a fan of.

I hope you will one day join the trek, it's a home for a soul among stars))

Why?)) is there any meaning behind it?

I don’t see it. I just looked at the number and admired its beauty. Don’t you have that?

I hope for the same thing, and I was more lucky to find Russian only playing partners, though we just started to expand some ideas

I only went to Star Trek in the cinema. I liked it, even though I don’t remember the plot.

Ah, that's rebooted version, it's about captain Kirk and his crew, about a hundred years before my fav timeline and my crew and in another universe, it's Kelvin timeline

I understand! I love meanings and significants too. But sometimes the meaning is just beauty. Because I was bitten by Wilde. https://forumupload.ru/uploads/001c/2a/e6/5/88028.gif

This is the Original Star Trek (shortly called TOS = The Original Series), it's a starting point for everything star trek related, in this show Kirk is played by William Shatner. That movie that you saw once with Chris Pine is about same characters, but a rebooted version in another universe called Kelvin Timeline

My show, the Next Generation, TNG is a direct sequel to TOS
People were actually waiting for TNG rebooted version in Kelvin Timeline too but it didn't happen xD

Aah... I mean, I did everything right and I need to start with TOS and then dive into TNG?

+1

Coffee table knight
Well, I can't say you should really, TOS was a hard watch for me, i didn't watch a single episode tbh, so it's up to you, if you are curious)))
TNG was shot in 80s, not 60s, it's more modern and better looking and I bet is more story driven

I’ll try both, thanks for the explanation!
