The Herald, I marvel at the wisdon of my previous self, who made a habit of leaving hibiscus tea to cold brew in the fridge over night, so that there's something fresh to drink in the morning
Other than that, just brainrotting in STALKER once again, carefully taking second plotline one step at a time. Or, well, wrapping up for the morning, because in an hour I'll have to be at my university, finishing this semester's paperwork for grad school

I'm waiting and wasting my time near a colleague's office who is late by an hour already, and trying to generate some decent episode ideas to propose in search for the partner while I am at it. I've tried to read my fav ST novels, but too tired for instant translation, getting immediate sleep mode.
I think the only real thing I actually want is sleep, everything else is a self-deception xd

Finally heading back to my own office.
If my intuition was personified outside of me, I would kiss her. I don't trust her too often out of fear to misjudge. Many people tried to gaslight me in the past, so I'm reluctant not to doubt everything I do, but today I spoke with my colleague's head of department and he told me things I suspected all along, work related. I can't do much about it, but I will buy myself a treat xd

apparently I completely lost two years worth of grad school reports. Which means that I cannot quickly write another boilerplate report, and have to painstakingly write one from scratch, asking way too many dumb questions for somebody who's supposed to do that for, like, two and a half years
it's not crucial, it's just awkward, and I'm barely able to contain the cringe I feel about the whole situation
