My guess to pretend a little bit like Game of Thrones in terms of surprise and fatality, like no one is safe and so they die fast one by one for the shock effect. They've succeeded, but I doubt that effect will lift that rating on Rotten Tomatoes from the dead. I like drama, but here it doesn't make any sense... I thought it was promising, now I just sit there and pretend I don't feel sad about it.
