Although there’s a lot of useful stuff on YouTube, sometimes it’s easier to listen to a lecture from there doing things than reading a book, but I’m talking about idle YouTube.

nooo, commander Riker is cunning, but not evil. This is my beloved character from ST too, he is brave, caring and very very loyal. In this particular scene he has welcomed Data into his quarters because poor Android experienced betrayal from a very important person, so Data asked him isn't it safer not to trust people at all, and Riker was surprised at first and then smiled and said that without trust there is no friendship, no emotional connections. I love that scene.

it's very good

The Herald, that girl’s face reminds me of Rose Tyler! A little.

It's true. It's a shame trust is hard to find and easy to lose.

she is beautiful, just like her onscreen sister Tasha, yep)) The main problem with her was that she was a rebel and used her association with her sister (fallen lieutenant and a friend of the main characters) to lure them into rebel's war, they fell for that because they loved Tasha so much. It was a good ending for them, but people got emotional hurt, even the android.
I've changed my avatar because I feel like I need to channel my inner Riker and be brave for now, work demands it more often. It's strange, but most of the time I pick characters to play when I need their main strengths irl xd

I started reading the Watts book you were talking about. I really like it! In the spring, i read Simmons' Hyperion and in general, it seems, i fell into the period of science fiction again

In my opinion, this is not strange. A lot of people do that or choose those they already look like, don't they? Few people are able to play for someone they don't admire or sympathize with.

The Herald, I love it when androids have feelings!

Oh yes, so the character lives a real life in the text, acquires flesh and blood, when charged with true experiences and aspirations. Every creation contains a piece of creator, something like this.

I’ve come a long way with my characters, ahhh. They’re all hot, and I’m hot.

Anyway, you're in for a good time with any of these three

I don't really like starting a series of books without being sure of the author

...and Hyperion in the original still sounds unattainable for me  https://forumupload.ru/uploads/0019/a4/9b/6/370122.png

newest chronology, well, Blightsight is a part of Firefall series, but, as I've said, you're in for a good time c:

Well, I myself now at the point that I read English literature without much trouble, even large bricks like The Best and the Brightest
Last time I had troubles, it was Bonfire of Vanities in 2021, but it really had a lot of high society vocab from 1980, and I guess I had to learn them from somewhere.

Came to tell everyone that the experiment on horoscopes has come to an end. There is no system! It is a cat in a bag, and the universe and fate are much more complicated.

Jokes aside, once, a player came and tried to make such character to play with mine.
But I wasn't interested... well, I'm not interested still, I think my waystone is still femslash or a hetero.
Or nothing, nothing is still an option, If you plan for an apocalypse.
