Actors work their salaries hard, there's nothing about that
But their performance can do so much, when there's plotwise nothing solid to work with
i.e. Transformers 2, Riverdale, Gossip Girl since season 2, just off the top of my head
like, s4 is genuinely fun at places, or heartfelt, but the moments are scarce and in-between, and for me it's irritating: they're on the cusp of being genuinely good, but they can't

I went to a pub with a friend tonight. It was a very nice evening and then I suddenly realized that 2 years ago I was at the same pub, sitting at the same place and talking about same feelings of mine but with another person. It was like two parallel universes. Kinda the same but slightly different.
